BalanSens is built for complete rehabilitation of individuals via robotic actuators and multi-modal feedback system to provide assist-as-needed paradigm. This must-modal feedback system includes haptic, visual and auditory feedback modules and also sEMG sensors to monitor the muscle activities for control of the system and performance analysis of the individuals. Complete rehabilitation includes; ankle preparation and rehabilitation, balance rehabilitation, and stepping rehabilitation. Thus, the system has been designed and developed to cover all these complex tasks in one set-up to be able to implement this complete rehabilitation session at once.
