Barış Baysal grew up in Kadıköy, İstanbul. He received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Ozyegin University in Fall 2019. Subsequently, he started his master's specializing in biomechanics and human-centered design with Dr. Ramazan Unal at Ozyegin University. He is currently working on designing and optimizing a novel 3-degree of freedom passive transtibial prosthesis and designing and controlling a quasi-active transtibial prosthesis. His graduate project was “Design and development of lightweight and compact body powered hand prosthesis.”.
